HISTORY

 

AGUAS CLARAS COFFEE finds its origin in childhood memory. To be born, to grow and to live among the colors and smells offered by the coffee crops in Colombia is a privilege for some. After many years of agricultural work and maintaining the family economy, the product today collected in the fields of the Aguas Claras farm is a product recognized at the regional level for its exceptional quality, obtaining various recognitions and certifications from agencies governmental and private. 

The coffee is grown in a Colombian region, located very close to the equator, which guarantees high luminosity throughout the year. The Andes mountain range, which divides and crosses the country from south to north, separates the Amazon from the Colombian coasts on the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. The mountains and the impact of the oceans and the Amazon also create exceptional climatic conditions and rain patterns, which allow us to harvest coffee during all months of the year. 

AGUAS CLARAS is a coffee farm by tradition, with families dedicated to the production of coffee with coffee crops, mixed with bananas, trees of a wide variety of species, native forests and water sources . The region where it is located is rich in flora and fauna. The ambient temperature makes the stay very pleasant (between 170C and 240C) throughout the year). 

Good agricultural practices make the crop almost wild, giving it its good cup quality, becoming recognized in the region as a farm with excellent quality production. The balance between the productive landscape and the preservation of the environment is a fundamental condition for maintaining the unique characteristics of the product. 

Thanks to this, the competitiveness and quality of the product has been maintained, thus creating a dynamic, living, and changing landscape, but which retains its essence over time.
